Each mug is wheel-thrown in stoneware and hand stamped in my studio with your chosen quote, phrase or short line of text. The letters are pressed directly into the clay before firing, creating a tactile, slightly debossed finish that feels beautifully handmade.
Because every letter is individually stamped by hand, the result has a soft, organic feel rather than a machine-perfect finish. It works best with short quotes or punchy phrases. Long paragraphs or very tiny text won’t be possible at this scale.
How it works:
• Send me your quote or phrase
• I’ll confirm spacing and layout so it works on the curve of the mug
• Choose your glaze from my current range
• I make and fire your mug from start to finish
You can keep it minimal with blind stamped clay, or opt for dark infill in the lettering for extra contrast, depending on the glaze you choose.
Each piece is completely handmade, so slight variations in placement and glaze movement are part of the charm. Perfect for meaningful gifts, bookish quotes, inside jokes, or a daily reminder that feels personal every time you pick it up.
